This chart shows a lot of examples of adjectives with -ing and -ed! i thinks that the meanings are very clear, anyway if you don't understand something asked me in the comments!

misunderstanding : when you understand something wrong, far away the real meaning.

be both...and : similar . ex:They  can be both amusing and annoying.

gesture: Move some parts of you body(hands mainly) while you speak

nod: Shake you head saying yes.

DANGER: If you are from Bulgaria or you feel confused after this explanation because in you country nod means" no"  and shake you head means "yes" this is a clear type of misunderstanding, so for most Europeans (and probably most of the world) NOD means YES and SHAKE YOUR HEAD means no ( Although this have not to worry you, in fact I find this amusing)

Shake you head:Move your head saying no

burst out laughing: You can't stop laughing

pleased to meet you: very formal way to say "nice to meet you"

go red: became red

encouraging: Positive!

Be in a hurry: You will be  REALLY LATE because this terrible traffic jam , so you are in a hurry!!!

wave:

weave: you create scarfs weaving fabrics

so far: Until this moments . Although there are a lots of investigations so far ,the detectives haven´t discover the murder.
