Book: Two explorers.


Hi guys!

In these term my grade are going to read an English book call Two explores , who narrate the story of two famous explores : Marco Polo and Roald Amundsen.


                                                   



In this post is where I'm going to post all the new vocabulary I will learn reading the book.

  VOCABULARY:


Raised: Two meanings: 1) Elevated.

                                         2) In the book means took someone in . Be in charge of someone.

                                               Ex: Marco Polo was raised by his aunt and uncle.

Merchant: A person who sell things 

Make someone crazy: When a person is so curious , so nervous, impatient. makes youy feel dizzy and you want to stop him/her

The army: Group of militaries that form the national security.

Leader: The person who rules in a group, a leader is similar than a king.

The Pope: The maximun represetavive of the christianity religium

Fabrics: 


Spices: Food Flavouring (Ginger,Oregano,Thyme...)

Priest: Important member of the christianity religium

Friars: Less important than the priest


Worship: Love, like something/ someone

Weaving: Action of knit cottom or other materials.

Sandstorm:In sandy desertes there are usually a lots of sandstorms , that are, in fact, sand -storms

Mirage:See something unreal, but in your i8maginatiuon is pretty clear and thurtly

Heaven: That pacific place where cristians think they'll go after die.

widows: In a marriage, when the husband die, the wife is the widow
